There are no pits at the bottom of soft seal gate valves. There is no accumulation of slag, and the opening and closing failure rate of gate valves is low.
The soft seal liner valve plate has uniform size and strong interchangeability.
Therefore, the soft seal gate valve will be a form that the water supply industry is willing to adopt. At present, the aperture of the soft seal gate valve manufactured in China is 1500mm. However, the aperture manufactured by most manufacturers is between 80-300mm. There are many problems in the domestic manufacturing process. The key component of the soft seal gate valve is the rubber lined valve plate. The technical requirements of the rubber lined valve plate are high. They are not all foreign manufacturers who can achieve it. They are often purchased and assembled from reliable quality manufacturers.
The copper nut block of the domestic soft seal gate valve is embedded above the rubber lined valve plate. It is similar to the structure of the gate valve, because the active friction of the nut block is easy to peel the rubber lining of the valve plate. For the soft seal gate valve of a foreign company, the copper nut block is embedded in the rubber lined gate to form a whole, which overcomes the above shortcomings. However, the concentration of the valve cover and the valve body combination requires higher requirements.
However, when opening and closing the soft seal gate valve, it should not be closed too dead. As long as the water stop effect is achieved, it is not easy to open or strip the lining. A valve manufacturer in the valve pressure test, uses a torque plate to control the degree of closure. As valve operators of one water company, they should also follow this method of opening and closing.
