The working principle of pneumatic gate valves  

The introduction of pneumatic gate valves 
The pneumatic gate valve is equipped with a pneumatic actuator, driven by compressed air to control the gate valve. The valve core is composed of the spool wedge structure parallel structure. It is suitable for the cut off and discharge of gas and liquid pipeline emergency.  

When using air operation gate valves, manual device must be part of the small handle to the pneumatic position. It makes half nuts and screws out. When the compressed air from the upper cylinder pipe is fashionable, pushing the piston within the cylinder and piston rod linear move, the piston rod will connect to the valve stem. Then, close the valve by pushing the valve stem down. When the compressed air comes from the lower tube, the gas moves upward by pushing the piston and piston rod in the cylinder and opens the valve with valve stem. When there is no air source, we can open and close the opening and closing screw and nut of valves. When the air source is from the inlet, the valve stem drives the valve plate downward. Then, the valve closed. When the air source enters from the lower air inlet, the valve stem drives the valve plate upward and the valve opens.

The working principle of electric gate valves  

The electric gate valve, as the name implies, is to use electric actuator to control the gate valve. It is mainly divided into the upper part and the lower part. The upper part is divided into electric actuator, and the lower part is divided into the gate valve. The actuator is connected with the gate valve, and the electric actuator controls the opening and closing of the gate valve to work, so as to achieve the connection of the pipeline medium. The gate valve is generally suitable for switch type occasions. If in the working condition of adjusting, the general selection is electric control valves, electric ball valves, electric butterfly valves, electric globe valves, etc.

The electric gate valve is powered by electric energy as the power to connect the electric actuator to drive the valve. It connects the valve stem to drive the valve plate to lift or open and close, which realizes the valve to control the switch of the pipeline medium. In addition to the control box and other accessories, remote control can be carried out, which is convenient and easy. 

The classification of electric gate valve actuators 

It is common for us to see the two kinds: the angle stroke electric actuator and the straight stroke electric actuator. 
Angular stroke electric actuators: it is used with the valve of angular strokes to realize the control of pipeline fluid turn-on within 90 degrees of the valve.  
Straight stroke electric actuators: it is used with the straight stroke valve to realize the up and down action of valve plate to control the flow of pipeline. It is usually in a high degree of automation equipment.
