Installation notes of pneumatic ball valves
1. Before installation, the pneumatic
ball valve should be checked about the specifications and models, and it should be identified whether there is any damage, especially to the pneumatic components. Check whether it is crooked, damaged or deformed, because it is inevitable that the goods will fall or be squeezed by other goods during transportation.
2. Then, we need to remove the debris from the valve.
3. When lifting the pneumatic ball valve, the rope should not be tied to the hand wheel or stem, so as not to damage these parts. It should be tied to the flange.
4. The pipeline connecting with the pneumatic ball valve must be cleaned. Make sure you clean it up. In many cases, this step will be ignored on the installation site. Please be sure to remember.
5. The iron oxide, mud, slag and other debris can be blown by the compressed air. These debris can scratch the sealing surface of the pneumatic ball valve. Moreover, it can block the small pneumatic valve. When installing the pneumatic threaded ball valve, the sealing filler should be sealed.
6. When installing pneumatic flanged ball valve, we need to pay attention to tightening the bolt symmetrically and evenly. The flange of pneumatic ball valves and the flange of pipes must be parallel, and the clearance must be reasonable, so as to avoid excessive pressure or even cracking the pneumatic ball valve.
7. Some pneumatic ball valves must also have external protection, which is heat preservation and cold preservation. The insulation layer is sometimes mixed with hot steam lines. What kind of pneumatic ball valve should be heat preservation or cold preservation? The answer is that it needs to be decided according to the production requirements.
8. Some pneumatic ball valves are installed in an open environment, which is greatly affected by wind and sun exposure and temperature difference between day and night, especially for the service life of some pneumatic components with high precision. It is recommended to add a protective cover device.
