Floating Ball Valve

Floating ball valve refers to that the ball is suspended in the flowing medium held in position by the compression of two elastomeric sets against it. The shaft is connected to a lot on the top which allow the ball to be driven travel through 90 degrees. The shaft allows for a certain amount of lateral movement of the ball, generated from the upstream pressure against the ball. The small lateral movement produces load on the ball, pressing it against the downstream seat. The ball valve is designed to be shut off bi-directionally.

Floating ball valve has compact structure, reliable sealing. The valve is not suitable for the common media such as water, solvents, acids and gas, but also suitable for wicked media, including oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane and ethylene.
